Coca-Cola has been around since the 19th century and is still extremely popular here today. How can something created so long ago still have the popularity and momentum that Coca-Cola does? The answer is simple their marketing team knows what they're doing and knows how to market to different demographics. When I say extremely popular this company was ranked third in most valuable brands coming in just behind Apple and Google. Higher Education: University of Oregon  The University of Oregon is a member of the PAC-12 Conference and was founded in 1876. The campus sits in Eugene, Oregon and runs alongside the Willamette River. The average cost of tuition after financial aid is $16,000 with a 69% graduation rate, and a 78% acceptance rate. The website for the University of Oregon is overall aesthetically pleasing by taking a simple approach with school colors and large videos on the home screen like "The Real-World Research Project" make it very appealing. For example a recent article was 'Hogs and Hazelnuts' which details a Oregon student's plan to assist local farmers to stop filbert worms from destroying hazelnuts and his solution is pigs! Which I don't know about you but I think learning things like that or kno...

Recently in the world of news Google has made their way into headlines and not for the right reasons. Data collection is necessary in the world of artificial intelligence and recently in the collection of this data the use of ethics is missing. A google contractor offered african americans $5 gift cards for playing a "selfie game"  and completing a demographic survey. The contractor failed to mention that while participants were playing this selfie game that it was capturing images of the users for a facial recognition algorithm. The recruitment firm Randstad did the work for the contractor approaching students, people attending the BET awards, and homeless people. When the workers from the firm were interviewed by The Daily News they revealed that they were told to specifically target ...
